Spring Into Action With Us in March

In recognition of Women's History Month and International Women's Day, Art After Hours on March 2 features a preview of Communism Through the Lens: Everyday Life Captured by Women Photographers in the Dodge Collection, an upcoming exhibition of rarely seen images. The evening also spotlights women artists from other areas of the museum's collections in honor of the annual #5WomenArtists campaign. Register for free on Zoom.

The next Zoom session of Art Together, which offers free family art activities, meets on March 6. Register up to the program start time at go.rutgers.edu/arttogether. Recordings of previous meetings are posted on Zimmerli at Home.

On March 13, the Zimmerli and Sisterwork present the next session of BLOOM: Explore Growth and Self-Expression Through Art, “Life Portraits: Share Your Stories through Art Making.”

Also on March 13, Saturday Sparks Adult Art Workshops introduces Oil Pastels with Wes Sherman.

Join the next Zimmerli member event on March 18 for a virtual visit to the studio of artist Joan Snyder. Registration is open for this program, which is free for current members, as well as anyone who joins or renews before the event.
