NBCO@Zimmerli: Salon Americana
New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra String Quartet presents a classical concert inspired by Jazz music. This program highlights the jazzy side of classical music through works by Dvorak, Grant Still, Gershwin, Higdon, Montgomery, and Ellington.
The afternoon includes a lively discussion about this quintessential American art form that was loved by American composers. The informal format features short performances and opportunities to chat with musicians, orchestra staff, and fellow audience members over complimentary light snacks and wine.
